How Do You Pay for the Close Personal Protection (CPP) Course? Payment Plans and Funding Options

You can pay for the Close Personal Protection (CPP) course in full, or through a payment plan. Panoptic’s accounts team sets up plans as instalments through invoice. The earlier you sign up, the smaller each instalment can be. Some current and former Defence members may also access transition funding.

Can you pay in full?

Yes. Full payment settles the course fee in one charge. Paying in full also earns a $250 credit towards your next course with Panoptic.

How do payment plans work?

Panoptic’s accounts team arranges payment plans as instalments through invoice. You can also pay a deposit to lock in your place. The plan then continues after that, right up to your course start date. Plans can follow a schedule you propose, such as a set amount each month or fortnight. The only rule is that the course must be paid off before it starts.

What does the standard fee cover?

The standard course fee is $8,602, inc. GST. Current and former service members can get a 10% cut. Their fee is $7,740, inc. GST. Proof of service is needed at booking time. Both fees cover the full 9-day course. This includes training, gear, range fees and your live-in stay.

Are there other funding options?

Yes, in some cases. Personal finance providers offer Study Now Pay Later options. These providers issue credit notes you can use towards the course. Some alumni have also accessed Defence force transition funding. This funding has helped cover part of their course cost. Check your own eligibility directly with the relevant provider or scheme.

Where do graduates work?

Panoptic trains staff on the Gold Coast. Graduates then work in cities right across Australia. This includes Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. Others work in Newcastle, the Sunshine Coast, Wollongong, Geelong, Townsville and Darwin.
